School Program Overview and Cost

In a highly interactive, motivational format, Mike reads, draws, and teaches writing and riddling, inspiring and empowering kids to create their own books. Assemblies for grades K-2 and 3-6 are tailored to the emotional and linguistic development of each audience. See School Program Descriptions for more detail and additional offerings.

The half day program or morning of the full day consists of these 2 assemblies each lasting 45 minutes, and the creation of original and personalized artwork for the school including a poster for the library, a book mark, a book plate, and an autographed drawing to be copied for each student. Also all library books are autographed as time permits.

The afternoon of the full day program can include interactive, grade by grade, question and answer sessions, or another activity. See School Program Sample Schedule for more information.

Full day program also includes a half hour bonus session after school for teachers.

Please do not change program formats without first checking with either Mike or scheduler. 

There is a 3 full day program minimum if further than 30 miles from West Linn, Oregon, unless Mike is already in your area.  (see my calendar)  You can work with other area schools within 20 miles to meet this requirement.

 

Fees/Honorarium

                                                                                            $2400 for a full day (9am-2:30 pm)                                          $1300 for half day (9am-11:30am or 12:45-3:15pm) 

 

Early Bird Price: 

When contracts are signed 3 months IN ADVANCE.     

$2200 for a full day & $1200 for 1/2 day            

The above fees include the school program, airfare and lodging. We make all airfare and hotel reservations.  Not included: Transportation to/from the airport,   to/from lodging and events, and lunch & dinner on program day.  Schools to provide.

 

Fees/Honorarium within 30 miles of West Linn, Oregon


$1600 for a full day (9am-3:00pm)                                            $900 for half day (9am-11:30pm or 12:30-3:00pm)

 

Early Bird Price: 

When contracts are signed 3 months IN ADVANCE:            

 $1500/full day and $800/half day

Not included: Lunch on full day program.  Schools will need to provide.

 

Evening Programs: 1 1/2 hours   $700   

                       Evening Early Bird Price:  $600

When scheduled 3 months in advance:  Enjoy a lively 45 minute presentation for all ages at your school, library, church or community center.  Mike’s program is a mixture of reading, drawing and learning activities, based on the average age in the audience.  After the program, he will be happy to sign books and draw a poster for your organization.  

If further than 30 miles from West Linn, Oregon, Mike must already be in your area to present an evening program.
