Mike teaches workshops on creating books for children, working with editors and illustrators, and navigating the publishing industry.

Here is a sample of the workshops he offers:

Creating a Picture Book from Scratch

In this hands-on workshop attendees learn how to write and illustrate a picture book from scratch. As a group, attendees brainstorm the story idea, develop the plot, resolution, character and illustrations for the book. Workshop is 1.5 hours long but can be tailored to fit the available timeslot.

Creating Riddles and Riddle Books for Kids

Mike teaches participants his simple, surefire method of creating original riddles for children. Attendees write and illustrate a riddle book as a class. Workshop is 1.5 hours long but can be tailored to fit the available timeslot.

Luncheon and Keynote Presentations

Need to invigorate your conference attendees during your lunch break? Mike delivers uplifting and humorous luncheon and keynote presentations. Prepare to be inspired!
